Adopt-a-Rock

The Burntwood Curling Club has initiated an "Adopt-a-Rock" campaign to help defray the costs of refurbishing the running surfaces of our rocks. The rocks were inspected last year and it was reported that the running surface of our stones were badly pitted. It was decided by the executive to have "inserts" put in the rocks. Basically the old running surface is removed and a new insert of granite is bonded with the rest of the rock.

The Adopt-a-Rock campaign allows you to make a charitable donation, which will see your name engraved on the handle of a stone.

The donation structure is as follows:

$125.00 - half a rock donation - you will share the rock with another person that you may or may not know.

$250.00 - full rock donation - you can specify what two names you would like to have engraved on the handle.

The donation that you make is a charitable donation and therefore tax deductible.
